I want to change this, or ideally have the ability to choose permalinks for a post without the need of altering all of the previous url’s of my posts, which is what happens when I alter the site wide permalinks. Unfortunately, since I’ve post ID as my permalink structure, altering the web page slug makes no difference to the post url. I know I can alter the site permalinks and then do 301 redirects, but these are fairly established domains with loads of the posts indexed, I Really don’t want to risk losing their index, or ranking?!
